Research: Effects of competition from grasses on plant diversity in pine savannas In a long term removal experiment, Andropogon virginicus has been removed from ten 1x1 m treatment plots in both wet and dry sites in a Louisiana pine savanna. The experiment was initiated by Arie Roth in 2000 and species composition in treatment and control plots are recorded annually. |
